There are over 20,000 species of bees worldwide. At least 460 bee species are native to Minnesota. Each species is an important and unique contributor to a healthy, balanced, and sustainable world. Whether found in rural, urban, or agriculture landscapes, or in original or restored ecosystems, pollinators are essential. Our work seeks to promote and conserve all pollinators not only because we depend on them, but because we are invested in their intrinsic beauty and value.
