Gifts to the Bee Squad are used to support honey bee and native bee education and outreach work for beekeepers and the public. From helping beekeepers keep bees healthy to reaching communities that are inspired to support bees, Bee Squad team members work hard to connect with people who are passionate about pollinators. Examples of how your dollars are put to work:
- Educating beekeepers to help them manage healthy bees
- Collecting data on honey bee health in the Twin Cities
- Presenting pollinator education at local events and schools
- Supporting Veterans by offering free beekeeping instruction
- Ongoing initiatives to help beekeepers and the public to plant pollinator habitat
